Welcome to Carpathian Road Rides! I'm Catalin Ciorobitca, but most people call me Cat. As your local guide, I'm excited to share the stunning landscapes and exhilarating cycling routes of Neamt County with fellow enthusiasts from around the world. Having lived in the UK for over 20 years, I bring a unique blend of Romanian heritage and British cycling culture to every tour.

My Cycling Journey and Passion

I've been a dedicated cyclist for years, commuting through all weathers in the UK and embracing the freedom and fitness it brings. My journey took an exciting turn in the summer of 2020 when I discovered road cycling. Since then, I've been hooked, clocking up thousands of kilometers annually and participating in sportives and races, even securing a few Strava KOMs and top rankings. This passion for the open road and the thrill of the ride inspired me to start Carpathian Cycling Tours, offering a unique way for others to experience the beauty of my homeland.

Being born and raised in Piatra Neamt, I have an intimate knowledge of the area and its hidden gems.
